I apologize for the long wait, everyone. This one ended up taking more time to edit than I anticipated. Also, like Day 2, the original video files' resolution was very soft, and I have tried to sharpen the overall image and lighten some of the darker scenes in post-production. The overall look isn't perfect, but I think the video successfully captures the vibes from the day's activities.
On the third day of my family's trip to the Great Western Steam Up event, Ken and I rode behind and chased several of the Nevada State Railroad Museum's public excursion trains. Said trains were pulled by the Roots of Motive Power's Bluestone Mining & Smelting Co. Two-Truck Heisler No. 1 and Dan Markoff's privately-owned Eureka & Palisade 4-4-0 No. 4 "Eureka". At the end of the day, we chased the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum's NCNG 2-6-0 No. 5 and the NSRM's Virginia & Truckee 4-4-0 No. 22 "Inyo" with V&T Kimball Coach No. 4. We also spent some time inside the Museum's Interpretive Center, which is briefly covered in this video.
We had loads of fun railfanning that day, and I hope you all enjoy this as much as we have!
