Vertical Blue is pleased to present another look back at the monumental history in the sport of freediving.
"Those Days in Vertical Blue Freediving History" are video releases of special moments wrought by many dedicated athletes who have achieved personal bests, national records, world records and pushed the boundaries of the human spirit and physiology ever further.
Aolin Wang of China was the first Chinese athlete to surpass the rare 100m mark in freediving (which he did at Vertical Blue in 2017). In this video we see Aolin set a new National Record for China at #VB2018 with a clean dive to 107 meters, (besting his own previous NR of 106m which he set in Roatan at the World Championships in 2017).
