ALENKA ARTNIK matches a World Record Dive at Vertical Blue 2018 diving on breath-hold to 105m CWT

Vertical Blue is pleased to present another look back at the monumental history of freediving.
"Those Days in Vertical Blue Freediving History" are video releases of special moments wrought by many dedicated Athletes who have achieved personal bests, national records, world records and pushed the boundaries of the human spirit and physiology ever further.

Alenka Artnik from Slovenia is one of the strongest freedivers in the history of our sport. This incredible dive was performed in the Bahamas at Deans Blue Hole (on Long Island). When Alenka completed this beautiful 105m CWT dive she matched the (then) existing female World Record held by Alessia Zecchini, which Zecchini had set on May 5, 2018.
