Today we’re on a route that hasn’t been featured on the channel before. The 141 which operates from London Bridge to Palmers Green providing links from Central London into North London and it does this by going via Bank, Moorgate, Finsbury Square (Where i started the journey), Moorfields, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Mildmay Park, Newington Green, Brownswood Park, Manor House (Where i got off), Harringay, and Wood Green. An essential link from Central to North.
The service is contracted to Arriva London and run under contract for Transport for London. Arriva runs the route out of there Palmers Green bus garage (AD). The route was ran using VDL B5LH Wright Gemini 2/3 however there has been electrification to the route and now primarily runs using new BYD BD11s with a few Gemini 2/3s still running on the route. In this case i had ED4 - LF25 THK. The new electric buses provide an enhanced journey with smooth rides, comfortable high back fabric seating. With seat to seat stop bells, USB A, and USB C charging. As well as skylights, and wood effect flooring.
