Moong Dal (Yellow Lentils) Ki Mangochiyan is easy to make and equally good with roti or rice
(Yellow Lentils) Moong Dal Ki Mangochiyan is at the core of Pakistani/Indians home cooking and nothing is better, healthier or more satisfying.
(Yellow Lentils) Moong Dal Ki Mangochiyan is simple and needs it’s few ingredients to show up. Start with my recommended amount and taste before serving.
Ingredients For Curry Masala:
Fenugreek seeds - ½ tsp
Onions (finely paste) - 200gm
Tomatoes (finely paste) - 200gm
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Water - as required
Dry fenugreek leaves - 1 tbsp
Fresh coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
All spice powder (Garam masala) - ½ tsp
Few lemon drops
Ingredients For Mangochiyan:
Soaked & ground moong daal - 250gm
Soaked & ground Chanay ki daal - 100gm
Red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
All spice powder (Garam masala) - 1 tsp
Salt - 1tsp
Green chillies (chopped) - 1 tbsp
Onion (chopped) - 1 tbsp
Oil - for frying
SERVE WITH Rice, HOT NANAS Or ROTI
