Dr Sarim Ather is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist, Director of Oxford Clinical AI Research (OxCAIR) and member of the Royal College of Radiologists AI advisory committee. He leads multi-site NHS deployments and evaluation studies for AI in imaging, with a focus on evidence generation, safety, and post-market surveillance. He sits on national programmes shaping AI assurance and workforce training, and regularly advises on procurement, governance, and real-world monitoring of AI tools.
