Bolt Action Battle Report: Battle of Cheneux, Peipers Charge

This weeks Bolt Action battle report see us head back to the Ardennes as the US Army 504th Airborne regiment take on Peiper and his infamous German force in a winter Battle inBelgium, December 1944.

With some special rules included from the Battle of the Bulge Campaign book:

Fog - we use the fog rules, as was the case in the real offensive, this limits the view of both forces and prevents the American air superiority.

The mix of rules from Warlord Games main rule book and the recent Battle of the Bulge Campaign book make for a great game.

FORCES
This scenario is set with differing opposing forces, both Winter US from the Campaign book and a German late war Platoon.

SETUP UP
The battle is played on a 6' x 4' gaming surface. The short table edges are north and south. The centre of the table is marked and the German player deploys his force in defensive positionson his half of the board, the USA come on in turn one .

Another great battle, fantastic board and a few laughs and banter along the way…

…but who will win, watch and see!
