The government has rolled out a health quality assurance program seeking to inculcate quality care across various levels of healthcare facilities in the country. Presiding over the launch in Kisumu, the Principal Secretary in charge of Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni says the Kenya Quality Model for Health Plus will seal the gaps derailing the Universal Health Coverage rollout.
