Your position into a jump affects the way the horse goes. Often a rider's horses all go the same way and that's because the way you sit, has an impact on the horse. If you sit with your leg stuck forward you are more likely to be driving with your hip angle and the horse will lift it's head and run. If you lean on the neck with your hands, your horse is more likely to go on the forehand and brace down into the contact. It is a great video to make you analyze how you are sitting and ensure you aren't the underlying cause of an issue with your horse.
