Walking in Faith, Love, and Obedience
1 John 3:23-24
“And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.”
In last week’s sermon, we dove into verse 22, “and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.”
The title of this sermons was, “ How to Have Your Prayers Answered.”
In the framework of the text, we gathered that in order to have your prayers answered, there are three prerequisites that you must follow:
1. Ask within His Will
2. Keep His Commandments
3. Do What Pleases Him
The main theme of the text for today is, faith, love, and obedience are the characteristics of one who is walking in the precepts of God.
How can we walk in Faith, Love, and Obedience?
1. Follow the Command of Faith and Love
2. Follow the Command in Obedience
