The Joni Fair Hospice House is a 10-bed inpatient facility that is owned and operated by Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care. Each private room is designed to be a home away from home for our patients, their families and loved ones. The house is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and there is always a caring hospice nurse and CNA on hand to help with any need. Most of our patients want to be cared for in their own home, but sometimes staying at home just isn’t possible.
Our Hospice House Staff features a multi-disciplinary team including:
Physicians
Registered Nurses
Certified Nursing Assistants
Social Workers
Chaplains
Professionally trained volunteers surround the patient and the family with an exceptional level of support and care. Patients receive skilled 24-hour care that focuses on pain and symptom management, helping to assure their quality of life.
