Step-by-Step Display Replacement Guide
1. Backup Your Data and Power Off the Device
Backup your important data to avoid any loss.
Turn off the phone completely before starting the disassembly.

2. Remove SIM Card Tray
Use the SIM eject tool to remove the SIM card tray.

3. Remove the Back Cover
Apply heat (with a hairdryer or heat gun) around the edges to loosen the adhesive.
Use a plastic opening tool or a suction cup to carefully lift the back cover.
Slide a thin tool around the edges to release clips, but be cautious of the flex cables inside.

4. Disconnect the Battery
Identify the battery connector on the motherboard.
Use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery to avoid short circuits during repairs.

5. Remove the Screws and Shield Cover
Unscrew the screws holding the metal shield above the display connector.
Remove the shield using tweezers.

6. Disconnect the Display Cable
Locate the display connector on the motherboard.
Use the spudger to disconnect it.

7. Remove the Old Display
Apply heat around the edges of the display to soften the adhesive.
Use a suction cup to gently lift the screen. Use a plastic tool to slide around the edges and separate the display.
Be careful not to damage any internal components.

8. Clean the Frame
Remove any remaining adhesive or glass pieces from the frame.
Clean the surface with a lint-free cloth to ensure proper adhesion of the new display.

9. Install the New Display
Apply adhesive strips or glue along the edges of the frame.
Align the new display carefully and press it into place.

10. Reconnect the Display Cable
Connect the new display’s cable to the motherboard.

11. Reassemble the Phone
Place the metal shield back over the connectors and screw it in.
Reconnect the battery.

12. Test the New Display
Power on the device to check if the new display works properly.

13. Reattach the Back Cover
Apply adhesive to the back cover or use the existing adhesive if still sticky.
Press the back cover firmly in place.

14. Reinsert the SIM Tray
Place the SIM card tray back into the slot.
