At the end of our four day Odisha bike trip with our new Hunter 350, today we return Kolkata from Kapilash (in Dhenkanal district of Odisha). There are 2-3 alternate routes. One can exit through Tangi (near Cuttack) via the forest roads of Kapilash Wildlife Sanctuary and then follow the Chennai-Kolkata expressway (NH 16) or hit the expressway at Chandikhole from Kapilash. However, we selected the exit though Panikoili, which covers a distance of around 430 km from Nirupama Hotel at Kapilash to our home at Kolkata. It is not always the shortest that you choose, but the most convenient at that point of time. The route was like: Kapilash - Bhuban - Duburi - Byasanagar - Panikoili (reach NH 16) - Bhadrak, Balasore - Jaleswar - Kharagpur - Kolaghat - Dakshinewar. It took us around 9 hrs to reach home.
