Dried Vegetables are the specialities of Kashmir .Kashmiris Cook Dried Vegetables in winters with different varieties. Today I tried Dried Spinach and Lotus stem amazing recipe with Awsome taste .Must Try .
Ingredients I used..
Dried Spinach 200 gram
Lotus stem 2 thick sticks approx 400 grams
onion 1
Mustard oil 2 spoons big
water as per requirement
garlic ginger paste 2 spoons
Spices ..Black cardamom 1 ,green cardamom 1 stick ,cloves and black pepper seeds 2 each ,fennel powder 1table spoon, red chilly powder 2 table spoons, corinader powder 1 table spoon ,turmeric powder 1 table spoon,salt as per taste
Preparation ..
Wash dried Spinach very well with warm water and boil it for some minutes ,squeeze its water and chop it well keep aside ,boil lotus stem pieces in turmeric water and drain it water, take cooker vessel pour oil in it and put lotus stem pieces and onion in it saute well till light brown ,add Spinach and saute well ,add all spices including garlic ginger paste and saute well for few minutes ,pour water in it and steam it till it gives 4 to 5 whistles. Serve hot with rice or chapati.
