A beautiful adaptation of the life of Edith Holden, who was such a brilliant wildlife artist & teacher. Written by hand, with poems and quotes by her favourite writers and beautiful illustrations of wildlife and plants.
Her books are still available (reprints) plus original copies are quite rare (look eBay).
"The low-lying fertile lands round the Avon in Worcestershire were golden with Marsh Marigolds, and as we went through Gloucestershire the banks were starred with primroses and I saw a good many Cowslips. The Plum and Damson trees were all in bloom" How beautiful and thoughtful . . . . . .
P.S Thank you for all your lovely comments. I will try to make the book available via this channel, which would be set to music (classical ?) but not certain as yet. Any thoughts please let me know. Thank you once again :)
