How to Make 3 Weeknight Meals with Flank Steak in less than 30 minutes ⏱️
Let’s face it, most of us have so much going on that it’s not always an option to put together the perfect meal, especially on a weeknight.
Because of that, I’m sharing 3 simple meals that we make at our house on the @charbroilgrills using one flank steak that are simple, tasty and effective AND can be made super quick.
Here’s the rundown:
Base Ingredients
• 2 lbs. flank steak
• Olive Oil
• SPG or favorite rub
Meat & Two Ingredients
• 1 bundle asparagus
• Olive Oil as needed
• 1 tsp garlic salt
• Precooked rice
Steak Salad Ingredients
• 2 C romaine, chopped
• ¼ C blue cheese
• ¼ C red onions, diced
• ¼ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• 2-3 T balsamic vinaigrette
Steak Taco Ingredients:
• Tortillas
• 3 T guacamole
• 2 T cotija cheese
• 2 T salsa
• Lime wedges, as needed
Flank Steak:
Grill flank steak over high heat, ~10–15 mins total, flipping halfway. Pull at 130–135°F and let rest 10 mins. Slice against the grain; cube half for later use.
Meat & Two:
Trim & oil asparagus, season with garlic salt, and grill ~5 mins. Plate with rice and steak slices.
Steak Salad:
Toss romaine with toppings and cubed steak. Serve it up!
Steak Tacos:
Load tortillas with guac, cotija, steak, salsa, and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy!
