Nissan Patrol Restoration - Ep.2 Engine Disassembly

Episode 2 of the restoration is engine disassembly. I'm disassembling the ZD30 DDTI - CRD. - Which is the latest generation of the common rail variant of the ZD30 Y61/GU Patrol.

Hopefully it can help show everything on the engine, where it all is & how it all works. Stay tuned for the reassembly where I'll go into detail on a bunch of the parts & processes like timing, turbo, injectors + the whole process of a rebuild of the block - boring, honing, pistons, bearings, installing a new head, valves, cams etc.

The engine I have is the ZD30DDTI - but the info in this video may be helpful to those with various engine models & body generations.

This video series will include how to rebuild the engine & the body.
