projectXJ: Door latch pt.2, unit disassembly & refurb options (2000 Jeep XJ, many others)

Today on Workshop Quick Takes (wqt): Last time, we popped open our XJ Cherokee's front doors and replaced a pair of worn out latch assemblies. The front doors still had new replacements available in the aftermarket, but that won't last forever, and the rears are a lost cause -- unless you refurbish them.

Join us today as we do a complete tear-down and failure analysis. Complex mechanical assemblies are really interesting to deconstruct, and the analysis will provide useful pointers if you want to refurbish these parts on your own workbench.
