Shared System Tutorials | Part 3 | System Zero

Time to dive in a bit deeper, I hope you can keep up. In this tutorial we'll introduce some basic modulation with DPO, Maths and Optomix. This combo was also the config of the earliest Make Noise System 0. So in the beginning this was all it was. Then came the first official 'CV Bus Shared System' which is the main feature in this video (my starter system). We'll return to the Black & Gold in the next video, but I wanted to manage a bit of expectations first. When I first saw the B&G I got this impression of a super modern machine, not realizing it was actually a museum of early synthesis spanning over a century - and you had to walk in the footsteps of the pioneers. But don't worry, it's super powerful and I love every HP of it.

Note: I am still unaware of the difference between additive and FM synthesis in this video. I mean FM when 'additive' is printed. You'll find true additive synthesis in the Telharmonic.
