Today I’m going in my local area, to Colva with Maria and Roma. We’re going to a place called Kai Boré, which we have been noticing but we had never visited. Dr Blanche gave us a tip that she has eaten there a couple of times recently and they have really nice South East Asian food. So we’re very excited. She’s recommended that we try dishes like nasi goreng. So let’s see, we’ll have something different and hopefully very delicious today
Kai Boré
Alex Residency, Margao-Colva Rd, Colva, Goa
Google Maps location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/u78HMwhN7Ak8S...
Costs we paid: Boiled soya peanuts Rs 100, Korean chicken wings Rs 295, Belly Dancer mocktail Rs 220, Shirley Temple mocktail Rs 220, Nasi Goreng Rs 350, fish steak in lemon butter sauce Rs 450, creme brulee Rs 180
Kai Boré is on the Margao-Colva road, in Colva, South Goa, on the opposite side of Colva Medicare chemist
There are Goan items also on Kai Boré's menu but today we are just going to try the South Asian because we have Goan all the time.
Dr Blanche said the boiled soya peanuts (Rs 100) is very good. She also recommended nasi goreng (Rs 350), which is Indonesian prawn fried rice, and she recommended fish steak lemon butter sauce (Rs 450), so we're trying all these. We will also try the Korean chicken wings (Rs 295).
The portions here are huge. The nasi goreng was enough for 3 of us. It was full of prawns and served with chicken satay, prawn crackers and an egg
We njoyed the mocktails also. We tried Belly Dance (Rs 220) and Shirley Temple (Rs 220)
The legendary soya peanuts (Rs 100) were garlicky and addictive
The Korean chicken wings were sweet and spicy and delicious
Roma and Maria also enjoyed the crème brûlée (Rs 180) dessert
Kai Boré is a nice place to go in Colva for good South East Asian food
Enjoy life, guys. Take care
