Welcome to 12 Days of Centeredness: a gentle daily pause to help you reconnect with yourself, soothe your system, and show up with the grounded presence your kids (and you) deserve.
I’m Allyn Miller, a parent coach who helps conscious moms respond instead of react.
I teach simple, body-based tools that make calm feel possible in real life, even on the messy days. My work blends nervous system education, compassionate guidance, and a deep belief that you don’t need to be perfect — you just need support and a few trustworthy skills you can return to.
Today’s Practice
This "Voo sound" is a somatic practice that stimulates your vagus nerve through the vibrations that occur with your vocalization. It's meant to remind you of your presence and settle any anxious or frantic energy.
I learned this practice from Peter Levine, and I personally enjoy the reverberation of this practice that resonates beyond my vocal cords.
