The German machine builder Wenzler is well known for producing reliable and high-quality CNC machining centers. In collaboration with AllSurplus, Maynards Europe is now offering an exceptional Wenzler model as part of the liquidation of the automotive supplier HAL in Plauen, Germany: the VKM 1-1 5-Axis Machining Center.

The Wenzler VKM 1-1 stands out for its extremely stable construction and highly flexible range of applications. Its base structure consists of a stable, self-supporting, vibration-damping steel shell cube designed by Wenzler*, enabling precise machining even of relatively large components.
With its large travel paths and versatile 5-axis configuration, the system is ideally suited for the production of a wide range of large components – for example, front and rear axle carriers for passenger vehicles.

𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗞𝗠 𝟭-𝟭 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀
Originally a showroom model built in 2016, the machine was completely refurbished in 2022 and then acquired by HAL for the production of aluminium axle carriers.
In 2024, a new milling spindle was installed, which has logged fewer than 500 operating hours to date.
With only 24,000 total operating hours and an almost new spindle, this unit represents a high-quality, well-maintained, and reliable machine with low usage time – a rare find on the market.
