In 2023 it is great to see a previously severed and long unused industrial track rebuilt for a new customer and that's exactly what happened in Taunton, MA. A section of the Myles Standish Industrial Track was put out of use when the customer at the end of track closed about 30 years ago and was later severed when the John Hancock Rd. crossing was removed. Fast forward to 2022 and the track was cleared to be restored to the customer at the end of the spur. Track rebuilding followed and in Spring 2023 the first train delivered to the new customer, Musket Corp. This video shows the track before, some progress shots, and then trains using the track.
