Purgatory Town is the new addition to Fright Nights 2025, transforming Big Easy Boulevard into a cursed settlement filled with wandering lost souls. As night falls, the atmosphere becomes thick with dread, the Purgatory Town streets crawling with the damned who are desperate for your attention.

Purgatory Town immersive scare zone invites guests to interact with characters, each of whom has a dark tale to tell, making every visit unique. The condemned are restless, and their presence ensures that you can never truly escape the horrors of Purgatory Town.

Fright Nights 2025 sees the return of terrifying fan favourites alongside new horrors unleashed by Lucifer, the Lord of Darkness. Guests can once again test their instincts in Survival Games, navigate the twisted toy workshop of Stitches, dance to their doom in DeadBeat, and relive horror cinema in Trailers.

The cursed cornfields of The Crows of Mawkin Meadow return to haunt guests, while Lucifer’s Lair offers devilish entertainment and live music.

Also new this year is Creature Campus - Shock to the System, an electrifying live show where Medusa’s empire faces its darkest hour. Plus, IT: The 4D Experience immerses guests in the terrifying world of Pennywise with state-of-the-art effects.

Fright Nights has been terrifying visitors for over two decades and was crowned Europe’s Top Theme Park Scare Event at the 2024 SCAR Awards.

First launched in 2002, it has grown into the UK’s leading Halloween event, blending Hollywood-style production with live actors, immersive environments, and world-class rides in the dark. Each year introduces new nightmares that push the boundaries of fear, and 2025 promises to be the most ambitious yet.

Thorpe Park, located just 20 miles from Central London, is one of the UK’s premier theme parks. Home to record-breaking roller coasters like Hyperia, The Swarm, Stealth, and Colossus, the park is famed for its adrenaline-fuelled rides and themed experiences. During Fright Nights, the coasters roar through the night sky, adding another layer of excitement to the UK’s most terrifying Halloween event.
