I intercepted this severe storm with my chase partner David Robins in Chatham on July 27th, 2014. It produced a destructive downburst with measured wind gusts topping 100-110km/h which shredded apart trees all around us. The storm also produced a nice shelf cloud as it was moving in, as well as frequent intense CG lightning and pea sized hail.
