Peugeot 305 Restoration Part Two - Cleaned and Turned

Here's Part two of Justin's Peugeot 305 Restoration. In this video I concentrate on cleaning and getting the vehicle on it's side.

For getting the grime off the car I used a truck wash mix sprayed on and pressure washed off with the turbo nozzle which actually removed paint on the front lower slam panel and in the boot where it'd been painted black.

Getting the vehicle onto its side was a challenge. I decided I'd create a frame which I could attach the vehicle too and turn it from ground level. The frame worked a treat but I didn't take into account the width of the rear wheel arches, meaning I had to put wood under the frame to avoid the arch touching the floor. I can improve the frame further by adding more material to allow use without wood underneath and probably improve the ease of roll whilst doing so.

In part 3 I'll be mechanically removing all the underseal from the exterior off the floorpan and chemically removing paint from the floorpan and boot floor inside but because of COVID-19 it's difficult to get a half respirator to protect me from the fumes and potential asbestos on the vehicle (unlikely, but not a chance I'd like to take).
