Making Diethylamine From Bug Spray (For Totally Legal Reasons)

I'm trying to make pain killer from bug killer (or bug deterrent...?), and step one is converting my DEET bug spray into diethylamine: a useful secondary amine that actually comprises the "D" in LSD! Despite it's use in producing that certain "acid" which took off in 60's, diethylamine is not itself psychoactive or illegal, so making and handling it is perfectly fine in the USA.

In all seriousness, diethylamine is somewhat corrosive (along with the lye drain opener and hydrochloric acid) and is highly flammable, so take care when handling it. Otherwise, this preparation is actually pretty tame...and, again, COMPLETELY LEGAL AND NOT HARMFUL, RECKLESS, OR DANGEROUS...YOUTUBE.
