What inspired you to create art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)
I have had a creative personality towards painting and drawing as a child as common as this may sound, I believe my parents had a somewhat contrition as they have always encouraged me to continue this even as a teenager and later on as an adult. I believe it is important to have people believe in your dreams at some point to help one to keep going and persuade their passions. I never knew myself not wanting to draw, paint and create, and I did.
What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?
I have a degree in visual arts and additionally, I hold a certificate of competence as a draft a for architecture and design. My career started as a product designer for handbags and accessories however, as my journey unfolded, I found my true calling which is painting. In the pursuit of my core passion I transitioned into the realm of fine arts.
What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?
I believe that every artist has a unique touch as we all have different personalities and the way we all express ourselves is unique in every way imaginable, as each painting is driven more by our feelings and all the visual information we soak from the outside world, the paintings I create can differ in style and I even though I start a painting based on an idea the painting always takes a twist and surprises me in the becoming. I am very spontaneous, I let myself enjoy the process and have fun.
For me, being unique means being true to myself and not think to much of what I should be or paint.
