Mary has been thinking a lot about leadership. And she’s noticed some surprising stuff. First, that leadership is not just about the people at the top of an organization, but great leaders can be anywhere. And the second is that what top leaders do, is often counter-intuitive. Mary will be describing some of the surprising things top leaders do: from radical candour, to the paradox of ego; from the death of the hero leader to the power of making mistakes. All firmly tongue in cheek.
Mary Myatt is an education adviser, trainer and writer. She works in schools talking to students, teachers and leaders about learning, leadership and the curriculum.
