CAD Modelling Challenge #01

In this CAD Modeling Challenge, we’ll create the component from an engineering drawing using SolidWorks.
This exercise is part of the Test Your CAD Skills series designed to help you strengthen your modeling workflow and interpret real mechanical drawings.

• Revolve Boss/Base
• Revolve Cut
• Offset Plane
• Extruded Cut
• Circular Pattern
• Shell
• Hole Feature

🎯 Objective:
Convert the 2D drawing into a fully defined 3D model using SolidWorks tools and reference geometry.

• How to model from a sectional view (A–A)
• How to create patterned features
• How to use Shell and Hole features efficiently
• How to interpret and model using engineering drawings
