Strong winds and high seas are expected along the east coast and the coastline of KwaZulu-Natal, bringing significantly colder temperatures.

Yellow Level 2 Warning:
Location: Alexander Bay to Plettenberg Bay
Conditions: Expect damaging waves that may complicate navigation at sea, with small vessels at risk of taking on water and capsizing. These conditions are anticipated to subside by Friday evening.
Yellow Level 2 Warning:
Location: Plettenberg Bay to Kosi Bay
Conditions: Damaging winds and waves are forecast, potentially leading to localized disruptions in harbours and ports. Small vessels are at risk of capsizing due to these adverse conditions.
Yellow Level 1 Warning:
Location: KwaZulu-Natal coastline and adjacent interior south of Richards Bay
Conditions: Damaging winds may result in localized damage to both formal and informal settlements, alongside potential disruptions to transport routes and travel services in the area, particularly during the morning hours.
