Then, the damage to the municipal building in Upington after an angry resident damaged all the windows of the building and vehicles. Traffic along the N2. Private aeroplane taxiing at the Upington International Airport. Ushaka Beach in Durban. We do sand sledding with ADDO CRUISES next to the Sundays River Mouth at COLCHESTER. A significant upper-air trough is set to influence weather patterns in southern Namibia and the western regions of the Northern Cape Province and Western Cape Province of South Africa starting today and continuing into tomorrow. By Wednesday evening, a cold front is expected to move into the southwestern Cape, bringing scattered showers to the western parts of the Western Cape Province. Big rainfall totals that could reach up to 50 mm over the mountainous areas by Friday evening, providing much-needed relief and moisture to the region. As we move into Thursday and Friday, light rain is expected to extend into parts of the Eastern Cape Province, bringing further opportunities for precipitation. Additionally, a notable drop in freezing levels is expected starting Thursday. This may lead to light snowfall in several mountainous areas, including: The western regions of the Western Cape Province, particularly the Cederberg and Matroosberg mountains. The vicinity around Sutherland, along with the Nuweveld and Roggeveld mountains in the Northern Cape, and extending to the Sneeuberg in the Eastern Cape Province. - The Swartberg, Outeniqua, and Tsitsikamma mountains around the Little Karoo and Garden Route. Stay tuned for updates and take necessary precautions as the weather evolves over the coming days.
Stay warm and prepared for the changing weather conditions ahead!
