Larchmont FD Engine 35 & *NEW-to-them* Tower Ladder 7 Responding

Larchmont Fire Department Engine 35 and NEW-to-them Tower Ladder 7 responding to an inside odor of gas on Iselin Terrace in the Village of Larchmont, New York. Engine 35 reported they had no odor or readings at the location and placed all Larchmont units back into service.

Tower Ladder 7 originally served as Ladder 187 with the Jefferson Parish Fire Department in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. It then went on to serve as Ladder 407 with the Lafitte-Barataria-Crown Point Fire Department, also located in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. It was eventually purchased by New England Fire Equipment and Apparatus, and was leased to the neighboring New Rochelle Fire Department in 2023-2024 while their tower ladder was out of service for an extended period of time (check out this video of it responding as Tower Ladder 11 in New Rochelle:    • New Rochelle FD Car 2302, Engine 21, & *NE...  ). Recently, the Larchmont Fire Department purchased it, and after some modifications to accommodate the height of their firehouse, it was placed into service on August 25th, 2025.

Engine 35 - 2009 American LaFrance Eagle (1500GPM/500GWT/25GFT)
Tower Ladder 7 - 2005 Ferrara Inferno (1750GPM/0GWT/100FT MM)
