Welcome to Day 12 of Days of December at The Scrapping Studio! 🎄✨

Today we’re still using the Creative Memories Gingerbread Fun collection — but this episode is extra fun because we’re creating a brand new two-page layout without a project recipe using leftover pieces and a few creative twists.

In this video, I’m inspired by a past Gingerbread layout and recreate the idea in a totally different way using what I have left:

🍪 A leftover circle element
🏠 Gingerbread house punch pieces (Caramel cardstock)
❄️ Snowflake accents
🖊️ A white Jelly Roll pen technique to “stitch” + decorate gingerbread people and add detail fast
💙 Songbird Blue (and other blues) for contrast and wintery pop
🎀 A banner strip that covers seams cleanly (and still looks intentional!)

You’ll see my real-time process for:

✅ Turning scraps into a polished “planned” look
✅ Splitting and offsetting circles for visual movement
✅ Hiding seams with layered banner strips
✅ Creating quick faux-stitch details using a white gel pen
✅ Building clusters with stickers + foam for dimension
✅ Designing a layout that holds 5+ photos with room for journaling
