Once officers attempted to stop him, he took off running. Once the officers were able to catch him on foot, a brief struggle ensued. The man was able to break away from police and shot a firearm, hitting one of the officers in the foot. Multiple police officers shot back, hitting the man. He was taken to an area hospital, where he is in critical condition.
