Shocking Incident | Farmer Dies After Accidental Gunfire in Kabirpur Police Station Area

A tragic and shocking incident has come to light from Village Chak Patti Balu Bahadur, under Kabirpur Police Station, where a farmer lost his life after an accidental gunshot fired from a licensed 12-bore rifle.

The deceased has been identified as Balkar Singh, son of Chain Singh, aged around 60 years. According to information received, Balkar Singh was present alone at home with his wife at the time of the incident. Suddenly, a loud gunshot was heard, after which his wife informed other family members and villagers.

When people rushed to the spot, Balkar Singh was found lying in a pool of blood inside his bedroom. The family clarified that the deceased’s daughter is married, while both sons live abroad. The family has clearly stated that they have no suspicion against anyone and believe the death occurred due to accidental firing from the licensed rifle.

Upon receiving the information, Kabirpur Police immediately reached the spot, took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. Police officials stated that the case is being investigated from all possible angles to determine the exact cause of the incident.

This heartbreaking incident has created a wave of shock and mourning across the village.
