Nothing says comfort food like Pie and Mash! A delicious creamy pie, made with freshly roasted chicken, leeks and a golden pastry top. Serve with buttery Mash and steamed greens.The perfect British dish to celebrate the 75th V.E day. .

1 medium chicken - season with olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast covered with foil for 1 hour, remove foil and cook for further 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
2 Leeks
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Tablespoon plain flour
1 Tablespoon English Mustard
Nutmeg
1 teaspoon dried/fresh herbs like thyme, tarragon or parsley
500ml chicken stock
2 Tablespoons Creme Fraiche
1 ready rolled shortcrust pastry sheet
1 Egg - for Eggwash
Cook in oven for 20-30 mins at 200 degrees until golden and crisp.
