Remote Klipper access kept annoying me, so instead of buying a dedicated screen, I decided to experiment. In this video, I turn an old tablet that was collecting dust into a dedicated Klipper screen — and it ended up being way easier (and more useful) than I expected.

This isn’t a step-by-step tutorial. It’s a real look at how I set up KlipperScreen using an old tablet, why I chose this approach, and what actually worked once it was mounted on the printer.

I walk through the setup decisions, the small problems I ran into, what I’d do differently next time, and whether this kind of “free upgrade” is actually worth it compared to buying a purpose-built Klipper screen.
