But to be obsessed with grammar rules is not the right way of learning or using grammar for speaking and writing English well. The best way to learn grammar is by practice in real-life contexts. Just learning the rules does not guarantee that you will be able to use the language correctly. Structural grammar is taught to children in school and then functional grammar. But for adult learners, remedial grammar is more important as they may be misusing grammar and need to become aware of this to improve themselves. The video shows how this can be done. In the process you will also learn how important grammar is and how much of it is essential for language competence. This will remove the fear of grammar which stops people from attempting to speak English.
