America Is Running Out of Baby Doctors – I’m an OB/GYN of 23 Years and I’m Exhausted

I’ve been an OB/GYN in private practice for 23 years and have personally delivered just under 6,000 babies — most years 250–300 deliveries while on 1-in-2 call. I’m exhausted, my partners are exhausted, and hospitals all over the country are begging for help.
In this video I pull back the curtain on the real OB/GYN shortage crisis:
-Why I get 4–5 desperate recruiter texts and emails every single week
-How we went from an 85% male specialty in the 1980s to 85%+ female residents today
-Why many new OB/GYNs work part-time or step away when they have young families (and why that’s completely understandable)
-Skyrocketing demand, frozen residency spots, crushing malpractice stress, and labor & delivery units closing left and right
-What this actually means for pregnant moms and the future of childbirth in America
This isn’t fear-mongering — it’s the reality I live every day on labor & delivery. If you’re a mom, future mom, medical student, or just care about women’s health, you need to see this.
Drop a comment: Have you had trouble finding an OB/GYN or getting an appointment? I read every single one.
