During 1940s wartime era rationing people used bits and pieces around their homes to make original Christmas decorations.
I think this Make Do and Mend spirit is relevant to our modern times in which we are aware of the consequences of waste.
These decorations are so simple to sew that all the family - including children (perhaps not pets… ) can join in.
Choose any theme you like and let your imagination run riot.
