This video is a step-by-step tutorial on how to make a bias tape. Bias tape is used to finish raw edges on sewing projects. It’s cut on the bias which means it has a little stretch, making it perfect for sewing around curves.
The bias tape can have different widths. In this video I will make a double fold bias tape, finished width is 1.2 cm.
For a bias tape maker 6 mm you need to cut 12 mm wide strips
For a bias tape maker 12 mm you need to cut 23-24 mm wide strips
For a bias tape maker 18 mm you need to cut 35-36 mm wide strips
