How To Ferment and Make Porridge At Home.
Fermenting
1 Litre of Warm Water.
2 Cups of Millet Flour.
2 Cups of Sorghum.
Mix very well
Put it into a container with a lid.
Put on the Lid Loosely.
Let it sit undisturbed for 3 days.eg like in a kitchen Cabinet.
AFter 3 days, it is well fermented and ready for use.
Cooking
Mix your fermented Paste very well.
Boil some water.
Use the amount of paste per your need. I used 500ml or 1/2 of it.
Can store the rest in the freezer.
Scoop some boiling water, add it to your fermented paste.
Mix it well. Pour in the hot water and mix fast to prevent lumps.
Keep stirring until you are comfortable with the consistency or like for 5 minutes.
Lower the heat and simmer for like 1hr.
Remove from heat, add sugar if need be and serve.
Enjoy.
