RoadSmart Fleet Steel River's Trent McWaide sat down with Sky News host Peta Credlin to discuss the video that went viral after workers from RoadSmart Fleet gifted a coworker a car.
Mr McWaide said the main goal was to let the 20-year-old coworker know that he has a family at RoadSmart Fleet.
“We searched high and low for a car and found one.
“Growing up he lost his mum very early due to cancer and then with his father, his father did some things that no kids should have done to them – got taken out of home and into foster care.
“He is just the ultimate worker ... we are so proud of him.”
