A combination of two talks presented by Dr Hannah Al-Yousuf, Haematology SpR at UCLH and Laura Eastwood, Consultant Clinical Scientist Trainee at NHSBT focusing on the management of a patient with Sickle Cell Disease presenting with flu like symptoms.
This talk was delivered as part of the London Regional Transfusion Committee's Education Session: ‘Shaping the Future of Transfusion in Haemoglobinopathies’ on Wednesday, 10th May 2023.
