Class 20, 57, 66, 87, 90 and 92 at

Apologies - no 88s as in the title - I recorded 66s instead! I;d forgotten that the Tesco train went through when I was walking from the west Walls viewpoint to the station.

Quite busy at Carlisle for a Saturday.

We have the Lochalsh Chopper charter to Inverness with 87002, 37304 and a pair of 20s to start the day.

Later West Coast brought in its Cumbrian Mountain Express top and tailed by Class 57s.

We also get the Up and down Malcolm Intermodal contract trains with Class 90s, a brief glimpse at the Russell Intermodal contract hauled by DRS Class 66 and the GBRf intermodal from Hams Hall again behind a 66.

Later in the afternoon a friend passed me and said there was a Class 92 in the Holding Sidings. Not only that, another was running north. Worth staying back to see!
