Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama guide Part 2 | Rampura to Tilakwada Map | उत्तरवाहिनी नर्मदा परिक्रमा

The Narmada Parikrama is a religious and spiritual journey around the Narmada River in central India. The Narmada is considered one of the seven holy rivers in India and is believed to be a manifestation of the goddess Narmada. The whole Narmada Parikrama of 3200 km takes more than 3 months to walk. It is not possible for everyone to circumambulate the entire Narmada because many individuals are unable to do so owing to health, time, and other factors. This Uttarwahini Narmada Parikrama option is ideal for them. The Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama is equally auspicious as traversing the entire Narmada Parikrama. It must be completed during the auspicious month of Chaitra.

The Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama starts from Vasudev Kutir Ashram, Tilakwada, Gujarat. This Parikrama can be started from either the north or south coast. After walking roughly 10 kilometers from Tilakwada to Rampura and reaching the end of the north shore, the boat must go to the opposite bank. One should take a bath at the ghat, then take water from the Narmada Maiya and offer it to Shivalinga where you began your trek.

From Rampura you have to walk back towards Tilakwada which is 11 km and complete the circumambulation. This 21-kilometer circuit path includes many temples and ashrams as well as tiny communities. Narmade har... Narmade har... was heard all over.

Some village residents provide cold water, syrup, tea, fruits, and snacks to the Parikramavasis. In the round path, the northern coastal road passes through the village as well as along the coast. The South Coast Road, on the other hand, is mostly asphalt.
