Duff grew up in Seattle, (almost) graduated from Roosevelt High School, and in the 1980s moved to Los Angeles where he played bass for Guns N' Roses. Duff has done a lot of living since those heady stadium rock days, including writing a second book "How to Be a Man (and other illusions)" inspired by his column for Seattle Weekly. He sat down in host Nancy Guppy's living room to talk about the forthcoming book, music, family and his personal hair-care regime.
