After a break from filming for a few months due to the latest lockdown, I finally managed to go and film trains for a couple of hours at a new station for me! This video shows a selection of trains at Ilkeston station, on the Erewash Valley line between Nottingham and Chesterfield. Whilst we see the usual selection of Northern and EMR Class 158s, we also see a number of CrossCountry Voyagers and HSTs and some EMR Class 222s, all diverted away from their usual route by engineering work. We also see a couple of GBRf Class 66-hauled freight workings, but unfortunately the second one was bowled out by a departing EMR service! Enjoy!
