What we got up to in this video...

WE SWAM WITH WHALE SHARKS!!! AND ALSO SAW SOME LANDMARKS!!!

There is a lot of controversy between travellers on swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob and we completely understand why this is. We researched this place a lot and debated on if we should go or not and we decided to give it a go as it was truly once in a lifetime opportunity for us.

Upon arriving it was a pretty organised activity so we were happy and the rules and safety of the whale sharks were clearly communicated so how bad could this be. We were very lucky we had a few people that didn’t get into the water so we had a large part of the water free for us to enjoy and watch the whale sharks and not get in there way.

It was a once in a lifetime experience for us and yes we are also part of the problem causing this to be unethical but we really stuck to the rules and the whale sharks were in the front of our mind throughout.
